How I Shut Up a Real Life Reporter

OK, If I haven't said it lately, I crack myself the fuck up.  This was posted on a friend's facebook wall.  This is a local investigative reporter that was recently arrested and charged with his second DUI.  Of course, you know my stance on drinking and driving so I definitely put in my two cents.  What I didn't know until my friend, Jennifer (AKA Cake Bandit) inboxed me to let me know is that, and oh, how did she put it?  "Girl, only you would argue with XXXXXXXX!!! Freaking awesome (and so SO TRUE)!" I was quarreling with a TV personality.  Apparently, this person I was debating is a local reporter.  LMAO and I probably will be for a long time!

FRIEND:  If he'd had my phone number on lock then this embrassing moment would have never happend, shame on you John Boel.... Here it is 502-XXX-XXXX dont be like John, the police dont care who you are and they are beefing up patrol just for the Holiday's. Hey John!!! What kinda bird dont fly???? Arrrrrrrgh!!!!!!

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- WLKY News Anchor John Boel was arrested Saturday night in Bullitt County, Kentucky after pulling into a restaurant parking lot. Sunday, November 7, 2010.

    • FRIEND:
Didnt he do a undercover story on City workers drinking on the job???? I bet those cats are loving this, what comes around goes around, nobody is exempt.....

    • RANDOM PERSON:
Fucking hilarious. Second offense and he's still on air? Glad WLKY can muster up the balls to report on their own colleague's fumbles.

    • ME:
This is his 2nd DUI...you would think he would learn!

    • REPORTER:
He was fired and he's in treatement...glad you guys are all perfect.

    • ME:  ‎@REPORTER...making the ignorant decision to get in a car after you have had even one drink is dangerous and has nothing to do with perfection.
    • REPORTER:
I'm not speaking of his perfection..just everyone else's. John knows he made a mistake...he's now lost his job, his family, everything. so everyone who wanted a pound of flesh? they got it...now don't use his mistake to advertise for cab service. it's in poor taste.

    • ME:
I think it is an excellent opportunity to advertise for cab service. Had he called Yellow Cab or any other taxi service he wouldn't be in this mess. His drunken arrogance got him where he is.

whatever, like i said...may each of you without sin cast the first stone.

    • ME:
Well, on this particular one I have a whole bag of stones...I NEVER get behind the wheel if I have had even one sip. I don't think I have the right to kill someone's mother.

    • RANDOM PERSON:
We all should all learn from this...i def learned on my own and i had the pirate taxi's number in my cell....Only thing is i learned the 1st time it happened to me...won't be a second time!

  1. Awesome, Donda!!! I hate that arrogant piece of shit, and I'm glad he's lost his career and family. Maybe it will teach him to stop being a self-absorbed prick and sober his ass up...good for you, my dear! You have to let me know who this reporter was...I'm sure i'll know who you're talking about...

  2. I hate people that think it is ok to get behind the wheel of a car after they have been drinking. This douchenozzle obviously had it coming. Thank God that someone didn't get hurt or killed in the process. Obviously that reporter is up this guy's ass. It is even worse that this is his second DUI!

  3. Good for you! Defending that action is absolutely ludicrous! How can anyone do that? Too many drunk drivers have killed other people and ruined lives. This isn't kindergarten where you get to sit in the corner. It can be life and death.

  4. YOU HAVE BEEN SUMMONED TO THE CASTLE

  5. There really is another who feels as strong as I do about drinking and driving. I HATE it, and I think punishments aren't hard enough...not even for first time offenders.

  6. Good on you for speaking up! Like you I am totally against drinking and driving - even if it is just one drink. I've known people who have gone to jail for two weeks for drunk driving after consuming just one drink. For that reporter to defend that guy sounds like the behavior is being condoned -- which is effed up!

  7. It's great that you did put in your 'two cents'. What you said about the drunken fool was true. Drinking like that and getting behind the wheel is the same as saying you give a shit about another person's life or even your own. That reporter buddy of his can go screw himself. Maybe he'll get hit by a drunk someday and wise up.

  8. Don't hate me but I had a DUI some years ago. I would NEVER in my life do it again! Getting 2 DUIs is a joke. I think the fucker deserves every bit of hell he was given and is being given. I know I put up with a lot and it has made me a better person. Donda...one day he will thank you! (i think)

  9. My first husband's brother was killed at the age of 18 by a drunk driver on bear mountain in Utah. He was hit head-on and it drove his jeep back UP the mountain a long way.. the guy that hit him was drunk..and walked away..

I hate people who think it's ok to drink and drive..

  11. You ROCK!!! Donda, NO ONE whould STOP throwing THOSE kinds of stones!! It is such a senseless waste of innocent life for someone to be SO STUPID!!! I can't EVEN say ignorant, because NO ONE can say they DIDN'T KNOW BETTER!! Let's see HOW many times they'll pull the pin of a grenade and keep hold of it... DUH!!!

    (((HUGS)))

  12. Its funny how when people are WRONG they pull the DON'T JUDGE ME CARD CUZ YOU AINT PERFECT! No one claims they are perfect, but we are all perfectly capable to know right from wrong. That douche bag knew he was wrong in the first place and he is getting what he deserves! And no, it is not in poor taste to post a cab service number..that fucker should have used it!

you go girl! Give em hell!
