A Little Bit of This and a Little Bit of That

So what can I say? I have been in a fantastic mood for the last couple of days. I can't tell if I am whirling into a manic upswing or if it is the effects of my diet aid. I have lost four pounds since Monday which I am ecstatic about! I will get into this topic a bit later. I have been busy for the past two days dealing with college and kindergarten stuff. On the phone and running from place to place in order to get Avery registered for Kindergarten and getting Dani's transcripts. I have to get Avery on a hardship transfer so it is a little extra work. Danielle has neglected emails that she has received from IUS regarding her financial aid since April and failed to tell me that she needs help getting the information for them. Needless to say, I am livid!

So I started my diet Monday and have been consuming around 900 calories a day. I am watching calories, fat and carbs. Basically, eating healthy. Also, I decided I would try a diet supplement. After milling over all of the products on the shelf I decided to go with the Slimquick Cleanse. It sounded good with phrases like "jump start your weight loss" and cleanse and detoxify". So far it has been working pretty well and I don't have the jitters as I have had when I have used other things in the past. You would assume with words like cleanse and detoxify that the experience would be pure, wholesome and spiritual even. Consumers beware. Do not be fooled by the fancy wording. This is not the case. It is merely pooping! Just a whole bunch of pooping. I believe a lot people think I am full of shit so at least now they have an accurate measurement!

Mandi highlighted my hair. It is now brown and blonde. I didn't like it at first but I do now. I guess it just took some getting used to. Avery on the other hand does not like it and told me as much tonight. She went to the store with Daddy and brought me back a four pack of Reese's Cups. My all time favorite candy. I have told everyone in my family that if I pass first that my casket should be filled with these so I come back in the next life a much happier person. I told her that I couldn't eat them because I am on a diet. She walked back to her room and then back into the kitchen where I was making yet another glass of water. She said, "Mommy, what is a diet"? My reply, "it's where you don't eat yummy candy and chocolate. Don't you want Mommy to be skinny and pretty"? She said most seriously, "Yes, but I don't like your hair". I asked her why she doesn't like it and she told me that it is too puffy and it is ugly! I said, "Avery, that is not very nice". She looked at me with intense eyes and said, "Mommy, I love you but I just don't like your hair"!

Beau put down some grass seed Saturday night in hopes that we can fill the bare patches that lack of sun and heavy kid traffic has produced. He raked it and sprinkled it and roped off the area. I was telling my Mom of the whole process and told her that I really hope it grows because I paid forty bucks for it. She said, "Well, Sissy if it doesn't I sure would take that back to the store". I am still trying to figure out how I would accomplish that! I am not sure if I have ever mentioned she is a closet blonde.

Talking to Mandi today she told me that she wanted to get Emily's bike out of the garage but Josh has the key and that he would have to come home on lunch and unlock it. I think it is weird that she does not have a key or access to her own garage. He could have dead bodies hidden in there and she would never know. Mandi tells me it is really messed up the way my brain works. Perhaps, I watch too much TV!

I was sitting on my front porch earlier this evening just minding my own business when I was attacked by an unidentified flying object! It was the scariest bug I have ever seen. It was the size of a half dollar and it had claws. Yes, claws! I screamed so loud and so hard when it landed on me that I am now hoarse and my throat hurts!
